Høvel means brush (hand brush) in Norwegian. Pronounced "hoe-vel."

What is the difference between the Høvel and a traditional sharpener?
The Høvel gives you the possibility to elaborate any shape of tip. You can use it with any type of wooden pencil, as well as charcoal, pastels, and even makeup pencils. The Høvel is designed to last a lifetime, simply change the blade when it becomes dull and keep on sharpening.
